I just remembered...my birthday was five days ago. I guess I've been so busy with apprentice stuff and learning to be a Pirate Lord, it slipped my mind.

All of my Tamers already have official VAs, as does Lopmon (Michelle Ruff). So we'll just cover those that don't.

Palmon: I wanted someone that sounded different from Mimi's Palmon, more like a young girl. After wracking my brain a bit I eventually settled on Ashley Johnson, best known as Terra from Teen Titans.

Lunamon: I chose Stephanie Beard for this role, as that way it's like Hotaru has part of her best friend with her in the Digital World. For her higher evolutions, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn fits the bill best.

Orsmon: For Milly's partner I chose Robert Axelrod, since he's no stranger to VA'ing Digimon and his voice had that "wise, old but can still kick butt" quality I was looking for.

Kudamon: This one is another split-role, with Amy Bruckner for the lower evolutions and Grey Delisle for the higher ones.

Leormon: Lara Jill Miller, just for the irony of her voicing a Digimon rather than a human.

Naiamon: For Naiamon I wanted someone formal-sounding, but could do a little girl's voice as well. And I found that Hilary Haag fit the bill quite nicely.

Wow. Being a ship's head cook is a lot...different than being a regular worker at the Abura-ya.

But traveling aboard the Pearl...it isn't so bad. Everyone's nice. And we haven't gotten into much trouble.

Well, except for in Axoyri when Captain Jack got himself arrested. But they were able to get him out without breaking him out of jail.

Working in Takato-san's bakery is a lot nicer than working for Yubaba in Abura-ya. Baking bread is more fun than washing floors or scrubbing down tubs. And I get to keep my name!

It's still work, but I don't mind.

Well somehow, once again, I've wound up a long way from home. Only this time I'm in some place called the Digital World, and not the spirit world.

Kudamon (my guardian spirit) says that I'm here because I'm needed. I don't know what I'm needed for exactly, but I'll do whatever needs to be done. "Finish what you start"; that's what Kamaji-san said.

At least my parents aren't pigs this time around.
